Microsemi supports high qualification levels for commercial avionics, military, and space applications. Products today are available with military or extended temperature screening (plastic and ceramic packages) or MIL-STD-883 Class B processing (ceramic packages only). Most space products are available with a higher level of screening (Microsemi Extended Flow). The RTAX-S/SL FPGAs achieved QML Class V qualification and are available in the MIL-PRF-38535 Class V flow. Microsemi continues working on achieving the QML Class V certification for RTAX-DSP FPGAs.

The time from design to production is a critical element in the aerospace and defense market, and system designers require a reputed supplier that can deliver entire solutions.
