USB Drivers for Libero IDE Platinum USB Dongle

USB Drivers for Libero IDE Platinum USB dongle version are not included in the Libero IDE installation CD or DVD. They must be downloaded and installed separately.

Before installing the USB drivers, Actel recommends that you download and run the FlexLM Cleanup Utility (3.9 MB) to remove any older, incompatible FlexLM drivers currently on your system.

MAKE SURE THAT THE USB DONGLES ARE NOT ATTACHED DURING DRIVER INSTALLATION.

Depending on which dongle you have, download and install the corresponding driver below:

• Actel USB (green Flex-ID) Dongle uses the FlexLM9 driver included in the Macrovision FlexLM Installer (4.9 MB)
•   Synplify USB (purple Rainbow SuperPro) Dongle uses the Sentinel driver included in the Sentinel Installer (6.0 MB, 6/2/2008)

Driver Updates for Libero IDE Platinum Parallel Port Flex-ID Dongle

Customers that have the Libero IDE Platinum parallel port dongle software may require a driver update for the black Flex-ID 8 hardware key dongle.

Before installing the driver, Actel recommends you download and run the Parallel Port Dongle FlexLM Cleanup Utility (3.8 MB) to remove any older, incompatible FlexLM drivers currently on your system.

Download and install the Flex-ID Dongle Driver Update (27.4 MB), and make sure that you check the Flex-ID 8 option in the installation menu.
