FameG (their full name is Fulhua Microelectronics Corporation) is transforming its business model from SoC (System-on-Chip) design services to a much broader SoC and SoC-based solution provider. The Company has a large portfolio of intellectual property that can be used in customer designs. FameG has operations in Taiwan, China, Japan and Silicon Valley in the U.S. The company has about 200 employees.

FameG positions itself as a Fabless SoC (System-on-Chip) ODM company and provides SoC and SoC-based solutions to meet customer's requirement. FameG has core competencies in complex chip design, application software and board-level engineering development. FameG also does not sell parts under its own brand name and prefers to ship SoC chips and SoC-based solutions under customer brand names.

FameG offers the following products:

• ASoC - FameG has adopted the platform architecture approach to SoC design. A typical platform includes a processor core, memory blocks, peripheral functions and application-specific logic. This approach emphasizes re-usability and reduces time-to-market. A series of platform solutions are used to develop application specific SoC devices.
• Design Services - FameG SoC Design Services has more than 100 successful foundry tapeouts. Customers can select point services such as RTL development, DFT, Synthesis and place-and-route. Customers can also contract with FameG to develop total solutions from specification to verified GDS2, and application systems.
• Retargeting Service - With proven design flows and thorough verification methodologies, FameG will seamlessly retarget designs for high volume production.
