Some users require additional processing on Actel FPGAs such as trim
and form on ceramic devices and tinning on either plastic or ceramic
devices. Actel does not offer these services, however, there are third
party vendors which do.

Corfin Industries LLC is an ISO 9002 certified trim, form and tinning
facility where we process product for companies which cannot justify
the capital investment. Our three (3) primary business areas are trim,
form and tinning of fine pitch high reliability surface mount devices,
tinning only of DIPs, SIPs, PLCCs, LCCs, PGAs, RF Transistors, Connectors,
TAB, Microwave and Hybrid devices and reclamation of product which
is no longer solderable due to extended shelf life corrosion. We also
provide tape and reeling, marking and lead reconditioning services.
We service the Commercial, Military, Aerospace, Consumer Electronics
and Telecommunications Industries. Our facility is certified to MIL-I-45208
and processes product to MIL-STD-2000A, MIL-M-38510J, ANSI-J001 and
MIL-PRF-38534. All Corfin Industries equipment are calibrated to MIL-STD-45662
and we maintain an ESD program to MIL-STD-1686. Our customers include
Allied Signal, Berg, Honeywell, Lockheed-Martin, Loral Space Systems,
Lucent, M/A-COM, Motorola, Nortel, Raytheon and Qualcomm just to name

Simply fill out the Sample Request Form and corresponding Specification
Sheet and forward it to us with mechanical samples. We will process
the samples and return them to you with a quote. This provides potential
customers the opportunity to view our workmanship in advance of doing
business with us and it allows us the opportunity to identify accurate
cycle times, tooling requirements, matrix tray requirements and inspection
needs.
All Corfin equipment utilize nitrogen blanketing over the solder surface,
thereby eliminating icicling and bridging. Corfin presently has over
1,300 distinct product types characterized and processed. Trim, form
and tinning components range from 28 lead, 50 MIL pitch product to
442 lead, 20 MIL pitch devices to RF SMT Transistors.
Once a process has been characterized at Corfin Industries, we guarantee
Toe-to-Toe, Stand-off Height, Foot Length and Coplanarity. If a part
is damaged at Corfin Industries, we will pay you for its value. We
are capable of making this commitment due to our equipment operating
in a hands-free environment with 100% repeatability and reliability
of process parameters.
