CE-ATA Controller
The iWave CE-ATA Controller interfaces with the processor and the CE-ATA device. CE-ATA is the interface standard that was derived from MMC with the addition of ATA commands, small form factor, and power-conscious designs. CE-ATA is used in the latest consumer electronic devices, portable media players, cell phones, and other handheld and gaming devices.
SD Controllers
The iWave SD Controllers interface with an on-chip processor and the SD/MMC/SDIO card. The SD v1.1 Controller interfaces with an 8-bit processor, while the SD v2.0 Controller interfaces with any generic processor interface. The main blocks in the controllers are the CPU interface, command path, state machine, command transmitter/receiver, data path state machine, data transmit/receive, and clock logic.
