IP Cores, Inc.
IP Cores, Inc. is a semiconductor IP company with primary focus on security and DSP cores for ASIC and FPGA designs.
The company was founded in June 2004 to capitalize on the design idea for an extremely compact AES core. Delivered to the first customer in summer 2004, the AES1 core remains the flagship product of the company and — starting at less than 3K ASIC gates — is still the smallest self-contained AES core on the market.
In the security space, the company provides both the "ultracompact" cores for the low cost / low power applications and the scalable high efficiency cores for the networking and storage applications with throughput requirements in tens of gigabits per second.
Documentation for IP Cores' IP cores that are optimized for
Actel's programmable logic devices and approved by Actel as CompanionCores
can be viewed or downloaded from this site. For information about pricing
and licensing CompanionCore products, please contact
IP Cores directly.
Note: CompanionCores are Semiconductor Intellectual Property
cores provided by Actel's strategic IP partners that are targeted for
use in Actel programmable logic devices and that meet Actel's rigorous
technical and sales standards. Such core verification includes ensuring
seamless implementation through Actel's suite of internal and third-party
EDA development tools and the availability of accurate and complete technical
documentation.
