Legacy devices are FPGAs that Actel no longer recommends for new designs. Some of these devices may already have corresponding Product Discontinuation Notifications (PDN), indicating that Actel intends to cease shipment of these products in the near future. Other Legacy devices listed may still be in full production, but there may be available pin-compatible, functionally-equivalent alternatives using more recent manufacturing processes. In this case, Actel recommends customers use the more recent Actel devices.
