The Athena Standard Performance AES-CCM core is the perfect solution for applications that require both authentication and confidentiality. The Athena Standard Performance AES-CCM core combines counter mode AES for encryption/decryption, as well as CBC-MAC for authentication. The Athena Standard Performance AES-CCM core delivers up to 89 Mbps, and supports all AES key sizes. For minimum area implementations, support for unused features may be optimized away.
