Description: Tiny AES - Encryptor & Decryptor
The Helion Tiny AES core is ideal if logic utilization is critical and when device resources or power consumption need to be minimised. It is the smallest member of the three families of AES cores offered by Helion; an ultra-small footprint AES engine, aimed at applications working at low data rates. It offers fully featured AES encryption and decryption supporting all three AES keysizes, and can be scaled down to reduce area if all these facilities are not needed in a specific application.

- Implements AES (Rijndael) to latest NIST FIPS PUB 197
- Supports any combination of AES keysizes (128-, 192- and 256-bit keys)
- Supports Encryption-only, Decryption-only or both Encryption and Decryption
- Includes hardware key expansion as standard
- All classic AES operating modes easily implemented (e.g. ECB, CBC, OFB, CFB, CTR)
