Axcelerator and RTAX-S
RTAX4000S ICC power has been updated in SmartPower, resulting in more accurate reporting of power.
Optimization of the number of RAM blocks used to implement a given configuration, including configurations generated for CoreEDAC use. Cascaded RAMs will provide better performance, especially in AX, RTAX-S and RTAX-DSP designs.
FlashPro
SVF file generation has been enabled for the U1/P1/M1/M7/AFS600 and M1/P1/AFS1500 devices.
FlashPro v8.6 SP1 also supports the new FlashPro4 flash programmer. FlashPro4 is completely backward compatible with the existing FlashPro3 and FlashPro3X programmers, and supports future Actel flash families as well. FlashPro4 supports 1.2 V programming for IGLOO nano and ProASIC3 nano FPGAs, and is significantly lower priced than FlashPro3 and FlashPro3X. You must have Libero IDE v8.6 SP1 or FlashPro v8.6 SP1 installed in order to run FlashPro4.

Firmware Catalog
A number of bug fixes for the Firmware Catalog are included in this service pack.
Known Issues
22621 - Libero IDE v8.6 SP1 on Linux RHEL4 requires fonts that are not available in the software
Wind/U Error (193): X-Resource: DefaultGUIFontSpec
(-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal--12-*-*-*-p-*-*-*) does not fully specify a font set for this locale
/ede/libero_8.6sp1_a/Libero_v8.6/Libero/bin/libero: line 55: 7134 Segmentation fault $exedir/$exename "$@"
Workaround:
- OPENMOTIF must be installed
- X11 Fonts must be installed such as: adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal--12-*-*-*-p-*-*-*
20736 - Compile for RTAX-DSP devices (RTAX2000D and RTAX4000D) will be invalidated due to updated library.
Recompile your design and run layout with the Incremental option "ON" for Place and Route.
21910 - Libero IDE and Designer proxy server preferences are fixed in v8.6 SP1.
Users can enable a proxy through Libero and Designer from the preferences:
- Using a proxy without a password: http://host:port
- On Windows, provide the fully qualified domain name: <domain_name>:port
- On Linux: host:port
- Using a proxy with a password: http://userid:password@host:port

Libero IDE v8.6 SP1 must be installed on Libero IDE v8.6, with or without previous service packs. After installing SP1, your Libero IDE version will be 8.6.2.10.
