Although Synplify DSP AE will function with Synplify AE, the best design performance will be achieved by using Synplify Pro AE. Synplify Pro AE is a standard feature with a Libero IDE Platinum license.

In order to run Synplify DSP AE, you must have The Mathworks MATLAB/Simulink installed. Synplify DSP requires this environment.

Synplify DSP AE v3.4.1A can only be used with the following versions of MATLAB/Simulink:

• Release 7.2 (2006A)
• Release 7.3 (2006B)

MATLAB/Simulink licenses must be obtained from The Mathworks.
