    Installation Instructions:
    1. Download Designerv83.exe to your local system.
      Note: Do not attempt to install from the web, this feature is not supported.
    2. In Windows Explorer, double-click Designerv83.exe.
      Or, in a DOS Shell, type Designerv83.exe at the Command Prompt.
    3. To verify your Designer version after installation, go to the Help menu and click About Designer. The Designer version displayed should be 8.3.0.22.

    • Solaris 9

    Installation Instructions:

    1. Download Designer83_Sol.bin.gz
    2. To unzip Designer83_Sol.bin.gz, type gunzip ./Designer83_Sol.bin.gz
    3. To run Setup in the GUI mode, type ./Designer83_Sol.bin
      Or, to run Setup in batch/console mode, type ./Designer83_Sol.bin -i console

  • Designer v8.3 for Red Hat Linux * (651 MB)
    • Linux RHEL 4.0

    Installation Instructions:

    1. Download Designer83_Lin.bin.gz
    2. To unzip Designer83_Lin.bin.gz, type gunzip ./Designer83_Lin.bin.gz
    3. To run Setup in the GUI mode, type ./Designer83_Lin.bin
      Or, to run Setup in batch/console mode, type ./Designer83_Lin.bin -i console

    * Note: You need read/write permission for this file to unzip. To add read/write permission, type "chmod +rw <filename>".
