Designer v6.0 SP2 Release Notes
Thank you for your interest in Actel's Designer v6.0 SP2 physical implementation
software. These release notes outline new features and benefits, new
device support, known limitations, and other detailed information about
this release.
This Service Pack resolves issues in AX and RTAX family placement, routing,
local clock, routing verification, and other Designer tools
The AFM program file generation for commercial Axcelerator family devices
has been modified to improve the programming yield. Users of commercial
AX devices should update their AFM with SP2 to potentially improve programming
yield.
Designer v6.0 SP2 requires a current Designer v6.0 license.
Items in this section relate to previously published workarounds
for known issues. Workarounds are no longer required for the following
issues:
40098 — Route verification (AXVSEG) fails on
Clock assigned to Local Clocks in AX/RTAX devices
No new issues/work-arounds noted.
