CoreConsole IP Database Update v1.1.20060512 Release Notes
(Jun 9, 2006)
This package updates your CoreConsole IP Database with new versions
of 3 IP cores.
- CoreMP7 1.2
- This 1.2 update corrects a problem with CoreMP7 executing on
Fusion parts. It does not change the CoreMP7 on A3P at all, so
you can continue with your A3P designs unchanged. You must use
v 1.2 or later for all Fusion designs and we recommend you use
1.2 or later for all new designs.
- CoreAI 2.1
- For users of CoreAI with an Obfuscated license type, there was
an error if the component was configured to use the ADC FIFO. This
is corrected in version 2.1.
If you have only an Obfuscated license (not RTL) AND are using
the ADC FIFO you should replace the 2.0 version of the component
with the 2.1 in your design. All new designs must use the CoreAI
2.1
- CoreAhbNvm 1.1
- CoreAhbNvm 1.1 resolves issues with executing programs from Fusion
NVM. If you are using CoreAhbNvm for this purpose in your design,
replace version 1.0 with this version 1.1 or later.
- Version 1.1 also improves compatibility with the latest NVM simulation
models.
A working, licensed version of CoreConsole
1.1 must be installed before running
this database update. Please refer to the Actel website for instructions on
downloading and installing CoreConsole.
CoreConsole 1.1 requires a CoreConsole node-locked license and a SysBASIC
Subsystem IP license. A new license can be obtained for free from Actel's Software
Licenses and Registration System.
Your existing CoreConsole and SysBASIC license will work with these
updates.
Components Filter Default in CoreConsole

The Components Filter in CoreConsole defaults to Listing versions of
components. When you have multiple versions of components it can be less
confusing to select List What? Component (see above), which shows only
the latest version of the components. However in version 1.1 of CoreConsole,
this setting is not saved after you shut down and you must set it every
session.
The version of software that you requested is no longer the most current version available. Please download the most recent software update.
If you need this specific version of software, please contact Actel Tech Support:

Notes
- Your existing designs will not be affected by this update unless
you chose to manually change component versions – no changes
are made without asking you.
- Nothing is deleted from your IP Database – new versions of
these components are added
- Your existing licenses will continue to work
For new designs no special actions are necessary, simply ensure that
you are using the latest versions above.
If you have an older version of one of these components in your design
and need to update it please:
- Delete the Core (CoreMP7, CoreAI or CoreAhbNvm) that you wish to
replace
- Add the latest version of the Core
- Auto-stitch or manually reconnect the Core
- Configure the Core
- Save
To add the latest version of a Core, click to select it, ensure that the
correct version is displayed in the Version window and click the Add button.
