Actel STAPL Player v1.1 Release Notes

The Actel STAPL Player v1.1 contains the JAM STAPL Player v2.2 and includes modifications to support Actel's family of devices. The Actel STAPL Player v1.1 enables microprocessor programming for ProASIC^PLUS devices, as well as the entire third-generation flash family: Fusion, IGLOO, ProASIC3L, and ProASIC3, and can be used in conjunction with the microprocessor of your choice.

Any development system that supports ANSI C programming.

The Actel STAPL Player v1.1 supports the ProASIC^PLUS family, as well as the Fusion, IGLOO, ProASIC3L, and ProASIC3 families.

EXPORT Command

• The Actel STAPL Player supports the EXPORT statement.

None.

The Actel STAPL Player only supports:

• ProASIC^PLUS devices with a STAPL file generated from Designer R1-2003 SP2 or newer
• Fusion, IGLOO, ProASIC3L, and ProASIC3 devices with STAPL files generated from Designer v8.2 or newer.

The Actel STAPL Player does not support:

• Serialization of the FlashROM in Fusion, IGLOO, ProASIC3L, or ProASIC3 devices
• Silicon in which Smart Erase is enabled
• The ProASIC family

The Actel STAPL Player v1.1 software does not require an earlier version of the software.
