Silicon Sculptor v4.68.1 Windows Release Notes
(Oct 5, 2007)
Silicon Sculptor Windows v4.68.1 is a new general release of the Silicon
Sculptor software supporting both the Silicon Sculptor II and Silicon
Sculptor 3 programmers. The Silicon Sculptor 3 programmer is a hi-speed
USB 2.0-based programmer. This release introduces the first support
for the world's lowest power FPGAs, the IGLOO family, and adds support
for several new Fusion devices, as well as Cortex-M1-enabled Fusion
and ProASIC3 devices. A new (updated) programming adapter module is
also supported. New support is provided for programming RTAX2000S-CQ256
devices. In addition, this release fixes some problems (see PCN0718)
which were found in the v4.68.0 release pertaining to the RTSX-SU, SX-A,
and eX product families, all the new features that were listed in v4.68.0
are repeated in this set of release notes.
This release features everything in prior general and special releases
as well as additional items.
Should I upgrade?
All customers should upgrade to this release immediately. In
general, Actel always recommends upgrading to the latest general release
version of the Silicon Sculptor software. Upgrading to a special release
should only be done if notified by email.

- SARno68939: Add SM208PQ-ACTEL-3 programming adapter
module support. This new revision addresses a programming issue observed
with SX72A where the TRST pin must be driven high during certain
tests performed at the end of the programming operation. This new
module, supported in this release, addresses this issue and can be
used anywhere the previous SM208PQ-ACTEL-2 was used.

due to Vpp not making contact in AX and RTAX-S prior to performing
any operation on the device, including secure command and blankcheck.
With this enhancement, it is now possible to easily distinguish between
a failing module (P-MOS FET failure) and correct mounting and connectivity
of the part in the socket.
- SARno53958: Display the pre- and post- Icca measurements
if Icca test fails.
- SARno70182: RTSX-S/SXA/eX algorithm revision programming
