Silicon Sculptor v4.62.2 Windows Release Notes

Silicon Sculptor Windows v4.62.2 is a new general release of the Silicon Sculptor software that supports both the Silicon Sculptor II programmer and Actel's new Silicon Sculptor 3 programmer. This release includes all the features of the v4.62.1 general release plus two new features, improved programming yield when programming SX16 devices and a bug fix for RTAX250S devices.
Actel recommends upgrading to the latest version of the Silicon Sculptor software.
Note
RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU
Starting with the v4.50.0 release and including all subsequent releases,
RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU products require the Silicon Sculptor II programmer
to program. Programming of RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU products with Silicon
Sculptor I has been discontinued.
SX-A
Starting with the v4.53.0 release and all subsequent releases, programming
enhancement to SX-A devices is implemented with the enhancement previously
included in RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU devices. For all SX-A devices, new
AFMs are available with the Libero IDE/Designer v6.2 SP1 release. The
v4.53.0 release of Silicon Sculptor software can take advantage of
these AFMs by automatically using new programming conditions previously
only available in the RadTolerant family of devices. Older AFMs may
continue to be used and the software will automatically use the older
programming conditions in this case. Silicon Sculptor II must be used
to program with these new enhancements. A reduced but enhanced set
of programming conditions is used for programming all SX-A devices
on Silicon Sculptor I programmers.

- 64 MB of available memory for use

- VGA or higher-resolution video adapter (SVGA 256-color and 800x600
or higher resolution recommended)
- For Windows 2000 and Windows XP systems, you must have administration
rights to the local workstation for installation purposes.
- SARno63644: Improvement to programming of A54SX16 devices
- Minor change — Raised programmer control signal output voltages to be in line with VCC on all SX devices
- Change was driven by lower than expected yield on SX16 devices.
- There is no impact to device form, fit, function, performance, or reliability.
- SARno63645: Algo rev. fails programming on RTAX250S-CQ208 with devices from lot# D1M6K1 due to incorrect hard coded data in algo, which did not correspond to the AFM file. The devices would fail to program but would not be damaged. With this release, these devices can now be programmed successfully.
