Silicon Sculptor v4.60.2 Windows Release Notes

Silicon Sculptor Windows v4.60.2 is a service pack of the Silicon Sculptor
software for providing an Enhanced Integrity Test (EIT) for both RT54SX72S
and RTSX72SU devices as well as RT54SX32S and RTSX32SU devices. The previous
service pack v4.60.1 only provided EIT for RT54SX72S and RTSX72SU. This
service pack provides EIT for both die sizes. Additionally, a new post-programming
test is provided for all A42MX devices.
This service pack is a new general release of the Silicon Sculptor software
and all customers are encouraged to download it.
Note
RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU
Starting with the v4.50.0 release and including all subsequent releases,
RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU products require a Silicon Sculptor II programmer
to program. Programming RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU products with Silicon Sculptor
I has been discontinued.
SX-A
Starting with the v4.53.0 release and all subsequent releases, the programming
enhancement to SX-A devices is implemented with the enhancement previously
included in RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU devices. For all SX-A devices, new
AFMs are available with the Libero/Designer 6.2 SP1 release. The v4.53.0
release of the Silicon Sculptor software can take advantage of these
AFMs by automatically using new programming conditions previously only
available in the RadTolerant family of devices. You may continue to
use older AFMs because the software will automatically use the older
programming conditions in this case. Silicon Sculptor II must be used
to program with these new enhancements. A reduced but enhanced set
of programming conditions is used for programming all SX-A devices
on Silicon Sculptor I programmers.

- Windows XP with SP1 or SP2
- Windows 2000 with SP1, SP2, SP3, or SP4
- Pentium 133 or higher (Pentium 200 or higher recommended) processor
- 64 MB of available memory for use
- 50 MB of available hard disk space
- VGA or higher-resolution video adapter (SVGA 256-color and 800x600
or higher resolution recommended)
- For Windows 2000 and Windows XP systems, you must have administration
rights to the local workstation for installation purposes.
- SARno58434: Add Enhanced Integrity Test (EIT) for
RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU devices. This provides a standalone EIT for RT54SX-S
and RTSX-SU devices as well as adds the EIT to the device programming
flow for RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU devices.

Program Tab
The Program tab now includes the Act_Verify1 command.
See Figure 1. This will provide the user a standalone capability to run
the EIT test.

The Act_Verify command includes the Enhanced Integrity Test (EIT), so
that it now provides Blank Check, EOP, .etc, and EIT.
1 To be consistent with SculptW, the Enhanced Integrity Test
(EIT) may be added into the Act_Verify command. The Act_Verify command
will then provide Blank Check, EOP, .etc, and EIT.
NOTE: RT54SX-S and RTSX-SU devices programmed with
earlier versions of the Actel Silicon Sculptor software may be tested
using this Service Pack and the included standalone Act_Verify command
as illustrated above.
