Silicon Sculptor v3.87.1 DOS and v4.50.1 Windows Release Notes

Silicon Sculptor DOS v3.87.1 and Windows v4.50.1 is specifically intended
for programming all AX and RTAX-S devices. This release of Silicon Sculptor
software provides enhanced programming yield on AX2000 devices. In order
to achieve this significant 20% improvement in yield, it should be noted
that the programming time for AX2000 could be increased by approximately
1 hour. A new cool-down step has been added to the programming software
for all parts, which gives the part additional cool-down time if required.
The advantage of this change is that a higher percentage of parts will
program successfully. All customers using AX & RTAX-S parts are encouraged
to use this release. Customers programming other parts should continue
to use the general release.

- Pentium 133 or higher (Pentium 200 or higher recommended) processor
- 64 MB of available memory for use
- 50 MB of available hard disk space
- VGA or higher-resolution video adapter (SVGA 256-color and 800x600
or higher resolution recommended)
- For NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP systems, you must have administration
rights to the local workstation for installation purposes.
- SARno45783: Increase the potential cooling time
for all AX & RTAX-S devices to 60 minutes. This is primarily to
address AX2000-FG896 devices where cool-down has been found beneficial
in increasing programming yield.
