Silicon Sculptor Software v3.77 DOS and v4.40.0 Windows Release Notes

Silicon Sculptor DOS v3.77 and Windows v4.40.0 combine all the features
and support of previous releases of the software with support for new
Axcelerator devices in the AX2000 series.

video adapter (SVGA 256-color and 800x600 or higher resolution recommended)
- For NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 systems, you must have administration
rights to the local workstation for installation purposes.
- For NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP systems, you must have administration
rights to the local workstation for installation purposes.
Silicon Sculptor software now has support for the following
devices:
- AX2000-FG896
- AX2000-FG1152
- APA075-TQ144
- SAR 32294: In previous releases, a continuity test
was not possible on 42MX devices. This is now resolved.
- SAR 30556: Button overlap in Configure dialog.
- SAR 31584: Checking IDCODE and displaying correct
expected value.
- SAR 31582: Fails device ICDODE test for an APA150
when using ISP.
- SAR 33395: AX2000/RTAX2000S designs generated on
v5.0 SP1 or earlier must go through re-layout in Libero/Designer v5.1
before generating an AFM file. Please use Libero IDE v5.1 or Designer
software v5.1 or higher to generate an AFM file for any AX2000/RTAX2000S
device.
- SAR 29998: The stand-alone secure command does not
function. When you secure the device (lock or permanent lock), the
error message,
"Action Name Invalid" appears. This is intended behavior.
- SAR 30695: In Silicon Sculptor software 3.75 DOS
(16 bit), the self-test is failing for all SMPA modules.
Workaround: The self-test does not fail on any modules. The
ISP module self-test gives the following message, "Testing Current
regulators: You must install SM48D or SM48DB before continuing."
After you install the SM48D or SM48DB module, the self-test continues.
- SAR 30558: In Windows, the Path + Filename doesn't
always fit into the text field.
- Design Name Readback for Flash devices - support for this feature
through STAPL programming will be available in a future version of
the software.
