Silicon Sculptor Software v3.74 DOS and v4.37 Windows Release Notes

Silicon Sculptor DOS v3.74 and Windows v4.37 combine all the features
and support of previous releases of the software with support for new
Axcelerator devices.

- Pentium 133 or higher (Pentium 200 or higher recommended) processor

or higher resolution recommended)
- For NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 systems, you must have administration
rights to the local workstation for installation purposes

- Change in Silicon Sculptor version numbers:

To coordinate version numbers between BP Microsystems and Actel,
we are moving from v3.69 to v3.74 for DOS. There are no versions
of Silicon Sculptor software from 3.70 to 3.73. Silicon Sculptor
Windows v4.32 has changed from v4.32 to v4.37. There are no version
numbers from 4.33 to 4.36. We apologize for any inconvenience this
may cause.
- False Blankcheck Failures: In Silicon Sculptor
software v3.69, the Blankcheck command incorrectly returned the message
"Device not blank" on blank devices for the following families:
SX08, SX16, SX16P, and SX32. In Silicon Sculptor software v3.74, the
Blankcheck command now returns the correct message for SX devices.
- 27459 - A500K180 ISP broadcast programming with
STAPL file generated from Designer R1-2003 SP1 or later: Silicon Sculptor
v4.31 and v4.32 software returns an error message when you program
an A500K180-ISP in broadcast mode. Single mode programming is not affected.
Silicon Sculptor software Windows v4.37 resolves this issue.
- 27744 - Silicon Sculptor software was not reporting
the fuse number correctly after programming failures for MX devices.
Silicon Sculptor software DOS v3.74 and Windows v4.37 resolves this
issue
- Design Name Readback for Flash devices - support
for this feature through STAPL programming will be available in a future
version of the software
