FineICC Self Test
The FineICC self test has been upgraded to test the FineICC circuit.
This test determines if the FineICC circuit is functional. You can use
the new self-test with any Antifuse programming module or the SM48D (or
SM48DB) module. See Figure 1.
Figure 1. Install SM48D or SM48DB Requirements
If you run the self test with the SM48D (or SM48DB) module and the error
message "Error: ICC Regulator Failed" appears, the programmer
failed the FineICC test as shown in Figure 2.
Figure 2. ICC Regulator Error Message
If you run the self test with any other Antifuse programming module
and the error message "Testing current regulators: you must install
SM48D or SM48DB before continuing" appears, the self test discovered
a problem with the FineICC circuit. It is attempting to recalibrate the
circuit with a SM48D (or SM48DB) module. Since the FINEICC circuit issue
cannot be fixed by recalibration, installing a SM48D (or SM48DB) module
and continuing the self test results in the error message:
"Error 47: Self Test Failed. This unit may need service. Please
call technical support" as shown in Figure 3.

Note: Figures 1-3 are in DOS mode. If you receive any of the above error
messages, contact Actel technical support.
- A500K180 ISP broadcast programming with STAPL file generated from
Designer R1-2003 SP1 or later - Silicon Sculptor v4.31 software returns

Single mode programming is not affected.
- Design Name Readback for Flash devices - support for this feature
through STAPL programming is not available until a future version of
the software is released.
