Notes:
- End Of Support for Windows 2000
Silicon Sculptor v5.18.0 will be the last Silicon Sculptor software release to support Windows 2000. The end of Silicon Sculptor support on Windows 2000 is required in order to add support for 64-bit operating systems. Any attempt to install Silicon Sculptor releases after v5.18.0 while running Windows 2000 will result in an installation failure. Alternatively, customers should be advised to upgrade to any of the compatible operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. Any version of Silicon Sculptor v5.14.0 or earlier, will continue to operate with Windows 2000, but Microsemi requires users to program devices with the most recent version of software.
- Actel software may operate on other Vista editions. However, Actel only guarantees operation on the Business edition, which is used during software testing.
- Silicon Sculptor 3 programmers will not operate when connected to 64-bit Vista or XP systems due to SculptW USB driver incompatibilities. Actel recommends using one of the supported versions listed above.
Installation Instructions:
- After downloading, copy the sculptw5180.exe file to your specified directory to install the Silicon Sculptor software.
- In Windows Explorer, find the directory where you copied the sculptw5180.exe file.
- Double-click the sculptw5180.exe file.
- If you have an older version of the software, performing step three will uninstall the previous version. When the uninstall process is finished, double-click the sculptw5180.exe file to start the nstallation process.
