The steps below describe how to install the Silicon Explorer 4.0 Update 2. It is assumed that you have already installed Silicon Explorer 4.0 software. If this is not the case, please install Silicon Explorer 4.0 first, then follow the directions below to load Update 2.

1. Click on the link below to copy the se40p2pc.exe file to your <Silicon Explorer 4.0>/Scripts/Actel directory. Typically, this directory is located under C:/Program Files/Silicon Explorer 4.0
2. Open a DOS shell and change to your
   <Silicon Explorer 4.0>/Scripts/Actel directory.
3. Execute the update by typing the following command at the command prompt:

   se40p2pc.exe

   This will overwrite the existing .ini file for each Actel family.
