FlashPro v3.2 Release Notes
FlashPro v3.2 combines all the features of FlashPro
v3.1 SP1 and has some additional improvements.

- FlashPro software requires Java Runtime Environment (JRE) v1.4 or
higher
- Pentium 133 or higher (Pentium 200 or higher recommended) processor
with Microsoft Windows 98 or higher
- 64 MB available memory
- 50 MB available hard disk space
- VGA or higher-resolution video adapter (SVGA 256-color and 800x600
or higher resolution recommended)
- Administrative rights are required to your local workstation for
Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP systems for installation
and for running the software.
- Supports all Flash devices for FlashPro
- Supports ProASICPLUS devices for FlashPro Lite
FlashPro v3.2 provides USB support for programming on the FlashPro programmer
via USB 1.1 as an alternative for PCs equipped with USB 1.1 or higher
ports. Some modern PCs without a parallel port but with a USB port can
now be used with a FlashPro programmer. Additionally, a batch mode interface
is provided in FlashPro v3.2 that enables you to write a program script
to call the software for automated production programming.
- 33333: FlashPro Lite now returns correct number of IR bits
- 32614: Software no longer hangs when doing Analyze Chain on an incomplete
chain
- 32404: Software works with ChainBuilder generated STAPL files
- 32396: device.db file has been updated to include all Actel devices
- 32075: USB support is now working at the expected speed of 1.6x slower
than the parallel port
- 28423: Software is now prevented from downgrading the firmware
