• Any development system that supports ANSI C Programming.
• Microprocessor compiler for the chosen platform.
• DirectC requires a STAPL file generated by Actel Designer Software or Actel Libero Integrated Design Environment.

• DirectC supports Actel's ProASIC^PLUS family; it does not support ProASIC3 at this time but a future release will offer this support.

This version of DirectC provides support for STAPL files generated from Designer 6.1. In addition, it also provides 16-bit microprocessor support and better security key mapping as well as support for APA device serialization.

• SARno42217: STAPL from Designer 6.1 is now compatible with DirectC v1.2
• SARno39744: Key with even number of nibbles is now compatible with FlashPro SW 3.2
• SARno38911: 16-bit microprocessors are now supported

1. After downloading, copy the 'DirectC_v1_2.exe' file to your specified directory to install the DirectC v1.2 software.
2. In Windows Explorer, find the directory where you copied the 'DirectC_v1_2.exe'
3. Double-click the 'DirectC_v1_2.exe' file.
4. This will install the PDF User documentation and the C header files that you can use to program using DirectC.
