be prompted for personal information. If you choose not to provide personal
information when requested, you will not be able to obtain the particular

The Site may collect certain information about your visit, such as the
name of the Internet service provider and the Internet Protocol (IP)
address through which you access the Internet; the date and time you
access the Site. This information is used to help improve our site, analyze
trends, and better serve our customers.
The personal information collected on this Site will be used to operate
the Site and to provide the services or carry out the transactions that
you have requested or authorized. In support of these uses, Actel may
use personal information to provide you with more effective customer
service and to make the Site easier to use by eliminating the need for
you to repeatedly enter the same information or by customizing the Site
to your particular preferences or interests.
We may use your personal information to provide you with important information
about the product or service that you are using, including urgent updates
and notifications. Additionally, we may send you information about other
Actel products and services that might be of interest to you, and/or

Each email communication includes an unsubscribe link allowing you to
opt out of that type of communication.
You may review and update your personal information that we have collected,
as well as your email subscriptions, at any time through the Actel Customer

We reserve the right to use and disclose your personal information in

Unfortunately, no data transmissions over the Internet can be guaranteed

The Site uses cookies to ensure the integrity of the registration process
and to personalize the Site. A cookie is a small text file that is placed
on your hard disk by a web server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs
or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to
you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the
cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature
to save you time. For example, if you personalize a web page, navigate
within a site, or request to remember your username/password, a cookie
allows the Site to recall your specific information on subsequent visits.
This simplifies the process of delivering relevant content, eases site
navigation, and so on. When you return to the Site, the information you
previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the site's
features that you customized. Additionally, based on the expiration date
of a cookie, you may be required to re-enter your unique user name/password
after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others
accidentally accessing your Profile.
You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies,
or notify you when a cookie is set. Please refer to your browser's help
menu regarding how to change your cookie preferences. If you reject all
cookies, you will not be able to use Actel products or services that
require you to "log in," and you may not be able to take full
advantage of all offerings. However, many Actel products and services
do not require that you accept cookies.
The effective date of this policy is January 1, 2005. Actel reserves
the right to change or update this privacy policy at any time. Any such
changes or updates will be effective immediately upon posting to the
Site, and your continued use of the Site following such posting constitutes
your acceptance of the updated privacy policy. For more information on
