Actel Holds First Annual FPGA Space Forum
Forum Fosters Connection With FPGA Users in the Space Community and
Demonstrates Company's Long-Term Commitment to the Industry
ACTEL SPACE FORUM, LOS ANGELES, Calif., November 01, 2005 —
Building
on its extensive heritage in the space industry, Actel Corporation (Nasdaq:
ACTL), the leading provider of high-reliability field-programmable gate
arrays (FPGAs) for space, today announced the commencement of its annual
Actel Space Forum. The one-day event, organized exclusively for Actel's
global space customers, consists of detailed technical presentations
from Actel and its partners, including First Silicon Solutions (FS2),
Magma Design Automation, Mentor Graphics and Synplicity. Discussions
will focus on contemporary topics relevant to the space industry, including
trends, testing and qualification of space-flight FPGAs, future products
for space, user case studies, software and IP cores designed for space,
and packaging roadmaps.

Group, will be on hand to address emerging trends in the industry. A
roundtable discussion, providing attendees with an opportunity to offer
feedback and opinion on important issues affecting the space community,
will end the day's events.
