John East
President/CEO
Mr. East brings nearly 40 years experience in the semiconductor industry to Actel. Prior to joining in 1988, he was a senior vice president at AMD, where he was responsible for the Logic Products Group and has held various marketing, engineering and management positions at Raytheon Semiconductor and Fairchild Semiconductor. East holds a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in business administration degree from the University of California, Berkeley. |

Esmat Hamdy
Senior Vice President, Technology and Operations
Dr. Hamdy is a founder of the company and a co-inventor of Actel's PLICE antifuse technology. He became senior vice president of technology and operations in 1996 and has held a number of management positions within the company's technology and development group. Previously, Hamdy held various positions at Intel Corporation, and was responsible for device development and design of the CMOS process used in DRAMs and 386 microprocessors. He holds a master's degree in applied science and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. |

Fares Mubarak
Senior Vice President, Marketing and Engineering
Mr. Mubarak has been with Actel since 1992 and was senior vice president of engineering prior to taking on responsibility for marketing as well in 2007. He has held a number of management and executive positions and has been responsible for all software and hardware engineering since 1999. Prior to joining Actel, Mubarak held various engineering, engineering management and product planning positions with Samsung Semiconductor Inc., Integrated Circuit Works, Inc. and Advanced Micro Devices. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a master's in business administration from Golden Gate University. |

Jay Legenhausen
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Mr. Legenhausen brings more than 17 years of experience in the semiconductor industry to Actel. Prior to joining the company in 2007, he served as the vice president of sales for Cypress Semiconductor in addition to several other sales, marketing and engineering positions with the company. Mr. Legenhausen holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Rutgers University, a master's degree in engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a master's degree in business from New York University. |

Maurice Carson
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Carson joined Actel in August 2009. He joins the company after serving six years as vice president and CFO of Kulicke && Soffa, a global leader in the design and manufacture of semiconductor assembly equipment. Prior to K&S, Carson was vice president of finance and corporate controller for Cypress Semiconductor. He also held various financial positions at Ephigraphx, Kraft Foodservice and Motorola Corporation. Carson holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Colorado and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. |

Tony Farinaro
Vice President and General Manager, Design Services
Prior to joining Actel in August 1998, Mr. Farinaro spent nine years at GateField (formerly Zycad Corporation). As vice president, application and design services, he handled business development and delivery of design services for FPGA and ASIC systems. Previously, Farinaro held management and engineering positions at Plessey Electronic Systems and Singer Kearfott. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, and a master's degree in business administration from Seton Hall University. |

Barbara McArthur
Vice President, Human Resources
Ms. McArthur joined Actel in July of 2000 and is responsible for managing all of the company's strategic staffing and human resources programs. She has more than twenty years of human relations and management experience. Prior to joining Actel, McArthur was vice president of human resources at Talus Solutions and has held senior human resource positions at Applied Materials, 3Com and Saga Corporation. She holds a bachelor's degree from Oregon State University in Corvallis. |

David Van De Hey
Vice President and General Counsel
Mr. Van De Hey joined Actel in 1993 as corporate counsel, became secretary in 1994, and has been vice president and general counsel since 1995. From 1988 to 1993, he was an associate with Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, Professional Corporation, a law firm in Palo Alto, California, and the Company's outside legal counsel. From 1985 until 1988, Van De Hey was an associate with the Cleveland office of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, a law firm. |
