Following the tremendous success of Actel's Space Forum events held over the last three years in the United States, Europe, and India, Actel has once again put together an exceptional, interactive experience, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to the space industry.

Actel Space Forum 2008 will take place in Los Angeles, California, on December 3, 2008. The event will open with a general session covering industry-wide topics, then separate into the two distinct tracks (Track 1 and Track 2), which will be followed by a roundtable discussion. The day will finish with a casual reception where you will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with key Actel personnel.

Actel Space Forum The forum will consist of in-depth technical presentations from members of Actel's engineering and executive management team, discussing contemporary topics relevant to using Actel's FPGAs in space-flight applications. During this interactive one-day event, you will gain knowledge and understanding on how to optimize your space applications using Actel FPGAs for high reliability, high performance, and low power. Topics will range from:

  • FPGA, development tool, and IP roadmaps for space
  • Design techniques to optimize power consumption, improve timing performance, and make best use of available device resources
  • Strategic partner presentations focusing on solutions for Actel space products
  • Radiation, qualification, and reliability update

With a special presentation - Mars Science Laboratory FPGA Overview by Douglas J. Sheldon, Parts Engineering Supervisor, JPL
